Nadsat returns to his own Catch Recordings with a single that comes with remixes from label friends nwo and Ste Roberts.

Nadsat is a quietly assured artist with an adventurous and accomplished sound. He has long been entrenched in electronic music and draws on those experiences when in the studio and DJ booth. He has held various residencies across the world and makes everything from acid to techno, rave to breaks.

Written while the world was in the midst of pandemic chaos, this new single was written with rave unity in mind. The superb 'Drum Memory' has raw, driving and consistent drums with a heart aching vocal adding emotive nostalgia and a nod to the 90’s rave scene. The soft pads add warmth and soul and field recordings make up the deft percussion and bring an all-important sense of humanism to the track.

UK mainstay Ste Roberts and Hypercolour head runs his own STE label. He makes no-frills, hugely effective club tracks that get played far and wide, and this remix is no different. His Tronic Drums version is a sleepy, spaced-out, and elastic cut built on bumping late-night rhythm. It's alien, futuristic, and charming all at once.

The second remix comes from fast-rising artist and Cead and Stress Records associate nwo. Already a regular at Leeds' finest parties and Catch's own showcases, he layers in spaced-out pads, buoyant jungle breaks and subtle throwback rave sounds to the original. It is both physically and emotionally potent.

This is another classy package of timeless electronic sounds from the Catch crew.
