Nadsat is an accomplished talent who has recently released on the esteemed Moira Audio Recordings label in Hungary. As well as being the head of Catch and A&Ring some excellent music from the likes of
DoubtingThomas, he also aims to cook up his own inventive and intelligent techno sounds in both his productions and performances.

He likes to imbue his work with real emotion and narrative and this new EP is no different, being the first of a two part series with the second part coming later in the year. From the off 'Counterpart 1' explores plenty of diversity centered around a techno framework.

Opener 'Throwing Stones' is moody and downbeat, with mournful chords and reversed frequencies that lead into fat, rolling rubber drums underpinning it all and making for a heavy groove, with vinyl crackle and lofi grain to add to the ambiance.

Falling is six minutes of doleful broken beats, punchy drums and widescreen, dubbed out atmospheres. It is poignant music for the dead of night that works as well on your head as it does your heel. Finally, Conflict builds to intense emotional peaks with icy hi hats, slithering synths and chilly industrial desolation in the air. The underlying kicks bring a sense of propulsion and again warm, frayed analogue textures add a truly authentic feel.
